The Road to Hana is one of Maui’s iconic journeys — and one of the easiest to mis-time on a cruise day. This curated Hana Discovery outing is labelled long-stay for a reason: roughly nine hours ashore before you even count pier logistics.
Choose it only when you have an overnight Maui window or an unusually long published call that still leaves comfortable return margin. On a standard Kahului day call, prefer Coastline and Cultural Highlights, Private Best Highlights, or the sail-and-snorkel powercat.
We deliberately keep Heavenly Hana–style nine-hour products and Haleakalā sunset dinners out of the ordinary short-day assortment. If you ask about sunset at the summit, expect a cautionary timing conversation — not a routine day-call recommendation.
